Emma Stone has been named 2017’s highest earning actress in Hollywood by Forbes.
With this, Emma dethroned Jennifer Lawrence, who topped the list in 2015 and 2016 and came third this year. The 28-year-old actress has made a whopping $26 million over the past year, largely because of her profits from the musical La La Land.
ennifer Aniston came in second, earning $25.5 million — significantly thanks to endorsement deals with Emirates Airline, Smartwater and Aveeno — while Jennifer Lawrence was third, generating $24 million.
Noting the influence of “La La Land,” Damien Chazelle’s musical film which grossed $445.3 million globally according to Box Office Mojo, Forbes noted, “Stone has her earnings from the movie-musical to thank for the bulk of her payday.”
