KXIP vs KKR Live Score

- Scotland have now scored in their last 13 home internationals, since a goalless draw vs the US in November 2013.

Despite the disappointment of missing out on a first win over England since 1999, Griffiths said Scotland would draw strength from their performance.

England had been the better side throughout the game, but two late Leigh Griffiths free kicks put Scotland on course for a shock victory, before Kane intervened.

There have been 114 meetings between the countries but none have ended as dramatically.

Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had given the Three Lions a seventieth minute lead from close range.

It was the cue for Griffiths to take centre-stage, the Celtic striker arcing a 25-yard free-kick inside the right-hand post in the 87th minute and then curling a shot into the other side of the goal three minutes later. But we should never be beaten.

"The way the game panned out, it was a good point for us". He gets half a chance and it was a great finish.

Pressed on whether those alterations at the Stade de France would include a change in goalkeepers, Southgate added: "I think our intention was always to give somebody else a game".

"The objective is to qualify and we're top of the group".

"Who knows when we get to next summer, who's fit and who's available", he said.

Harry Kane's stint as captain of England is not yet finished.

"Obviously I do not know what the gaffer's feeling is on it".

England captain Harry Kane was proud of the way his side dug deep to avoid a chastening defeat to Scotland. "I said on Saturday it was never my intention to play Joe in this game", insisted the 46-year-old. The manager told me just before training on Friday.

"It was like a middleweight boxer fighting a heavyweight, they kept getting hit".

"So we've got to be a squad, have strength in depth, and we've got to have competition for places". Jack is coming back from an injury and he has been our No 2.

"But we played a team with five at the back, tried to frustrate which is understandable from their point of view". The power and strength and speed of England is phenomenal. "It was probably the tallest wall you could put up in European football today and he went round the side, over the top, he is a good character, a wonderful character, unusual but wonderful", he said of the Celtic forward. It's great that all the teams who follow you now have something to aim for. "A wonderful character. Strange, but wonderful". If I go that route with anybody then I don't think that's the right thing to do.

"We had a couple of the marines come to the game and watch us, so it was great to see them again". I can only say brilliant, well done everybody. "It's annoying for them to do so much and have a result that could have been one of the best results ever".

"The first free-kick was careless, the second (given away) was a slip, so I am not sure there is a lot we could have done about that".
